Cost Excludes
- International flights - International flights are not included in the package price. We will assist you with the flight booking process and provide guidance on the most suitable flights. A budget of approximately USD 1,400 per person should be allowed for the international flights from Nairobi to Tokyo and Seoul back to Nairobi. Flight from Kyoto to Seoul
- The flight from Kyoto to Seoul departs from Kansai International Airport in Osaka, as Kyoto does not have an international airport. A budget of approximately USD 280 per person should be allowed for this flight, including baggage where applicable.
- Visa fees - Visa fees are not included. Current estimated cost is KES 13,000, subject to the applicable visa requirements and fees at the time of application.
- Visa processing for the trip will begin approximately three months before departure.
- Meals - Lunches and dinner are not included. We recommend budgeting a minimum of USD 50 per person per day for meals.
- Optional activities - Any activities not specifically listed in the itinerary are optional and are not included in the package price.

We offer a monthly payment plan to make it easier to spread the cost of the trip over several months.
A USD 300 deposit is required to secure your place. The remaining balance is then paid monthly according to the payment schedule for your selected package. The payment plan is based on the package you choose and the date you book your trip.

General
Yes, you will be guided through the visa application process. However, this is an individual process, so while we will advise you on the requirements and application process, you will be required to submit your application to the embassy in person.
We will provide you with an itinerary, hotel reservations, and reserved (not paid) flight bookings. You will also be advised on the visa requirements. You will be responsible for paying the visa application fees.
The outcome of the visa application is solely determined by the embassy, and we cannot guarantee or determine the outcome.
In the event that your visa application is refused, your deposit will not be lost. Instead, it will be transferred as travel credit towards another destination of your choice. At that point, we will recommend a visa-free destination to help you continue building your travel history and strengthening your supporting documents before applying for another Schengen visa in the future.
While we take all the precautions we can to make sure your belongings are safe, every traveller is essentially responsible for their own belongings. Therefore travel insurance is a must! We do recommend getting a luggage bag with a lock and if we could ask tour participants to never leave their personal bag/camera gear unattended and don’t flash large sums of cash when making purchases.

We carefully curate all of our tours, and because they are unique, completely custom, and bespoke experiences, we can’t guarantee future tour dates—so we recommend booking as soon as possible in order to secure your spot
Once you have put a deposit down on a specific tour date, we are unable to change you to a different date unless your tour is postponed or canceled
If there is a significant concern for the well-being and safety of our guests, we will postpone our tour dates. If you personally don’t feel comfortable traveling, but your tour isn’t canceled or postponed, you will need to submit a claim to your insurance although most insurance will need evidence that their genuine safety concern.
If a tour is postponed due to factors outside of our control such as regional conditions, safety considerations, or operational constraints; we will communicate any changes as soon as possible and outline the available next steps.
The itinerary operates according to the stated schedule. Travellers are responsible for being at designated meeting points on time. Missed activities or services due to late arrival or failure to attend are not refundable.

Our tours are made up of approximately 98% women, but everyone is welcome. We welcome travellers of all genders, nationalities, races, and backgrounds.
Our group tours have a minimum of 4 travellers and a maximum of 12 travellers. This allows us to keep the groups small, manageable, and more personal.
Yes. You do not need to come with a friend or travel companion. Many of our travellers join solo and meet the rest of the group during the trip.
Accommodation is based on twin-sharing rooms, with travellers sharing with someone of the same gender.
Solo travellers may be paired with another traveller in the group. Friends travelling together may also request to share a room with each other.
